AFPCoronavirus claimed five more lives overnight in Sindh, lifting the province's Covid-19 death toll to 2,604, stated Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday. The CM added that as many as 335 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in Sindh on the day, raising the provincial infection tally to 144,449. Moreover, of all the active cases, the condition of 264 patients is critical and 28 are on ventilators, he said. On the other hand, 201 patients recovered from the contagious disease overnight, the CM said, adding the total number of recovered patients in the province added to 137,041. He said that of 335 newly reported cases, 250 had been detected in Karachi alone.
