The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona said that a man “went over the edge” at the Grand Canyon West Skywalk about 9 am on June 5, according to a statement on Facebook. The skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet out over the rim of the natural phenomenon, giving visitors a clear view 4,000 feet to the canyon floor below. More than 10 million people have visited the skywalk since 2007, according to the Grand Canyon West website.
