A man is facing impaired driving charges causing bodily harm after he allegedly crashed a luxury sports car worth over $300,000 in Burlington late Thursday, seriously injuring his passenger. The man, 23, suffered minor injuries in the crash on Oaklands Park Court. The vehicle, a McLaren MP4-12C Spider supercar, crashed into a hydro transformer. Halton police said the car crashed into a hydro transformer, leaving nine homes without power. He is to be charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.
