Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry Public Relations Officer Dr Reazul Karim said on February 29, the judges departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to attend a training session in Australia, returning to Bangladesh on March 15. Four doctors too of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) have been home quarantined from Wednesday. IEDCR Director Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora said that four new cases of Covid-19 had been confirmed, raising the total number of confirmed coronavirus patients in Bangladesh to 14. According to Worldometer, the virus—which was characterized as a pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO)—has infected over 208,000 people across the world.
