The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture will host the benefit, backed by the same Green City Market-affiliated team behind the Chicago Chefs Cook for Ukraine event held in March. The Tigray benefit on the other hand has just raised a little more than $16,000 — despite having much more time. More than 70 chefs participated in the Ukraine event. Now, with the benefit, she and the rest of the Chicago food community have the chance to do that.
