A three-year-old boy who fell into a 150-feet deep borewell on Friday in a village near here died on Saturday, allegedly due to suffocation, the police said. Doctors said that he died due to suffocation after falling into the borewell,” Gwalior Collector Sanjay Goyal said. The Collector informed that the boy was taken out after nearly 22 hours of rescue operation. 1 lakh would be provided from the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the family, the Collector said. Earlier in the day, the boy, identified as Abhay Pachouri was taken out from the borewell in Sultanpur Kheria village under Dabra tehsil and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
