A 35-year-old woman from Halifax has died as a result of a three-vehicle crash on Highway 104 Monday afternoon. Part of Highway 104 near Broadway in Pictou County, N.S., is expected to be closed until late Monday evening. RCMP say the preliminary investigation determined an SUV travelling east on Highway 104 crossed the centre line, striking the rear driver's side of an oncoming pick-up truck. The people inside the pick-up truck were not injured. The driver of the SUV, a 72-year-old woman from Pomquet, N.S., was taken to a Halifax hospital via Lifeflight.
