Detectives are searching for three other officers believed to be the masterminds of the murders. The Director of Public Prosecutions applied to have the officers detained for 14 days, saying investigations are not yet complete. The DPP, through lawyers Nicholas Mutuko, Catherine Mwaniki and Duncan Odimu told the court investigations are complex and police are pursuing crucial leads. Fredrick Leliman, Stephen Chebulet and Silvia Wanjiku were presented at the Milimani law courts yesterday but were not required to take a plea. The three are expected to give an assurance to the court that there will be no interference in investigations.
