A man from North Alton, N.S., and two women from New Brunswick suffered serious injuries in separate two-vehicle crashes on Nova Scotia highways this weekend. Early Sunday morning a 27-year-old man was flown to hospital by LifeFlight after a collision on Highway 101 near Waterville, N.S, RCMP said in a release. The driver of another vehicle, a 26-year-old man from Wilmot, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. A 21-year-old man from Hants County who was in another vehicle sustained less serious injuries in the same crash and is expected to survive. A section of the highway between the Old Halifax Road and Highway 2 was closed for several hours.
