The doctors and the health workers were isolated since Friday evening. A 67-year-old man in Chittagong tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, making him port city’s first confirmed case of the virus. His samples were tested at the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) and the patient was found positive for coronavirus. A total of 87 symbols were tested at Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease (BITID), Faujdarhat in Chittagong till Friday night so far.
