General location of Unisoo village. Srinagar, Dec 11: Security forces gunned down three militants suspected to be Pakistani infiltrators in an encounter in a North Kashmir village on Sunday night. The state's police chief, Shesh Paul Vaid, said all the three militants were apparently Pakistanis and were neutralised by a joint team of Jammu & Kashmir Police, Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force. What began as a cordon-and-search operation turned into a gunfight when the cornered militants opened fire.
