DAGUPAN CITY — A rice mill operator on Sunday (May 6) drowned in a swimming pool in Mangatarem town in Pangasinan province. The body of Lester Fronda, 24, was found at the bottom of a 9-foot deep pool at Manleluag Hot Springs in Barangay Malabobo at about 2 p.m., an hour after Fronda took a dip. Fronda was taken to the Mangatarem District Hospital but he died on the way. Since that time he had not returned home. At about 5:35 p.m., police said De Guzman dove from the railing of the bridge but did not resurface.
