MANILA, Philippines — Three persons were injured in separate hit- and-run accidents in Navotas on Sunday night. Karen David and Lea Mae Perales were walking along Lapu Lapu Avenue in Barangay Northbay Boulevard South when they were struck by a tricyle driven by Reynaldo Ambrocio Jr.Ambrocio was arrested after the incident. Ricardo San Pedro, 71, was on a motorcycle along M. De Vera street in Barangay Navotas West when he was sideswiped by a Suzuki Ciaz sedan driven by Ralf Alcalde. Due to the impact, the motorcycle crashed into a Toyota Avanza manned by two policemen. Police said Alcalde fled but was nabbed in a follow-up operation in Caloocan with the help of motorcycle riders.
