LUCENA CITY – Three people were injured in an accident that involved three vehicles along the Maharlika Highway in Sariaya town in Quezon province early Monday, police reported. As a result, the wayward vehicle slammed into a parked jeepney along the side of the highway. ADVERTISEMENTTwo jeepney passengers – Victoriano Ilao, 33, and Ken Buenaventura, 18 – and bus passenger Jouf Ameir Abrigo, 20, were injured. Rescuers from the local government provided emergency medical aid to the victims. They were later brought to Lucena United Doctors Hospital and Medical Center for further treatment.
