District Civil Surgeon Dr Shawkat Hossain said the youth, 32, along with his wife was sent to isolation unit of Matlab Uttar Health Complex. With the assistance of police, the youth and his wife were taken to the health complex from his father-in-law’s house. With cold, cough and fever, he came to his father-in-law’s house in the upazila on April 4. The samples of the youth were sent to IEDCR on April 7 and he was found coronavirus positive on Thursday night. Meanwhile, samples of 11 more people were sent to the IEDCR on Friday for coronavirus test.
