The deceased have been identified as Ripon Kumar Ghosh, 32, son of Bhobesh Ghosh, Nitai Biswas, 35, son of Debendranath Biswash and Anik Biswash, 21, son of Tapon Biswas of the town. They died while undergoing treatment at the Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed SM Tanvir Arafat, Superintendent of Kushtia police. Later, their family members took them to Kushtia General Hospital where they were given necessary treatment, he said. At one stage, they succumbed to their sickness while undergoing treatment, Taposh Kumar said.
