"Returning these animals to the wild is vital for restoring a species that once thrived here," she said. Bantengs are classified as endangered under the IUCN Red List due to hunting and habitat loss across Southeast Asia. "Bringing these three bantengs back is a critical step in restoring the forest ecosystem and ensuring the species' survival in Thailand," he said.
