The Golden State Warriors' Media Day has become an internet event, as much as it is a chance for media members to get interviews with players and coaches on the day before training camp opens. Speaking of Zoom, the second part of the day was via a Zoom webinar, which required registering for access. Not that long ago, per Tim Roye during the stream, Media Day in 1995 was "couple of cameras, few beat writers and some radio guys". The Warriors and the NBA have their eyes on the international market. The topic of traveling to play in China was not the only reference to the international market.
