While Vaibhav was a resident of highrise near City Centre II in New Town, Suraj and Shibraj stayed at Beleghata in Kolkata. Police said the car belonged to Vaibhav and he was on the wheels when the accident took place on Sunday. In May this year, an SUV carrying eight passengers had turned turtle while the car was racing on the beach. One of the passengers, a resident of Khardah in North 24 parganas, had succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. Last year, a 35-year-old man had fallen to death while parasailing on the beach on Sunday.
