Three suspected Bangladeshi terrorists have been detained in Malaysia this year, police say. They are among 45 suspected foreign terror fighters (FTF) held by Malaysian police in 2017, police chief Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said in a statement on Friday, reports The Star online. Photos released by police identified the Bangladeshis as Md Golam Rabbani, Redwanul Azad and Md Ashraful. Police said the suspects were detained between January and October 6 by the counter terrorism division. Harun claimed they uncovered cooperation between IS and other terror groups who sent militants to Malaysia to launch attacks.
