MANILA, Philippines — Two trains of the Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT 2) collided between the Cubao and Anonas stations on Saturday, according to the Light Rail Transit Association (LRTA). According to a Radyo Inquirer report, at least 29 passengers were injured and taken to a hospital. ADVERTISEMENTQuoting a witness, Radyo Inquirer said a train full of passengers that was bound for the Santolan station hit a train parked on the tracks. Some of the debris from the collision fell on the street below. Lyn Janeo, LRTA communications officer, said the incident was still under investigation.
