CAIRO – 5 September 2021: The Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater, accepted the participation of 285 shows, 167 foreign shows, and 118 Egyptian shows. A viewing committee has begun to select the performances that will participate and compete for the festival's awards, according to a statement issued by the festival today. The Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater will launch on December 14 and will run until December 19. The selected performances will either enter the official festival competition or will be staged on the sidelines of the festival. Participating performances will be staged within the festival’s program for two consecutive nights, and the shows can be presented for additional nights outside Cairo in prior coordination with the participating troupes.
