Business News of Saturday, 24 July 2021Source: www.ghanaweb.comTrade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerematen has disclosed that some 278 factories under government’s One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative are at various stages of implementation. “Since the beginning of the programme till date, there are 278 1D1F projects which are at various stages of implementation. Out of this number, 104 companies are currently in operation, 150 are under construction and 24 are at the mobilization stage. He added that so far, the industrialization programme since its inception in 2017 has created 150,975 direct and indirect jobs. “The companies that are currently operational have created a total number of 150,975 direct and indirect jobs.
