FOLLOWING a 27-year crisis that rocked the leadership of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide to its root, the church on December 22, 2017, held a unity prayer session at its Irefin, Oje area church in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to signal the process of total unification. Outgoing General Evangelist of the CAC, Pastor Abiara, Pastor Olugbile Akinosun, Pastor James Oluwamakinde Adeoloye and the zonal evangelist of the CAC, Pastor Emmanuel Afolabi Folorusho, spoke on the fresh air which is blowing through the church. Pastor Akinosun said: “We have been making efforts for a very long time to end the crisis in CAC, and at a particular stage, we experienced setbacks. From here, God says we must organise another prayer session at our church headquarters at Olugbode, Ita-Baale, Ibadan and at CAC camp, Arakeji. Today’s prayer has ended the 27-year crisis.”In his contribution, Pastor Folorusho noted that the “unity prayer portrays what our fathers agreed upon as the part of the process of unification of CAC as a whole.
