June 20, 2023: Twenty-seven percent (27%) of voters believe that America will be a socialist country in 20 years. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 41% think it will not be, and 32% are not sure. A similar poll conducted by Gallup in 1965 found that 25% believed America would be a socialist country 20 years later, in 1985. While Scott Rasmussen founded that firm, he left nearly a decade ago and has had no involvement since that time.
