Karachi Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested 26 criminals, including 12 street criminals, from different areas of the metropolis. According to the police sources, different police teams carried out search operations in Korangi, Gulberg, Zaman Town and Saeedabad areas, and apprehended 12 street criminals including Ahsan Ali, Junaid, Sultan, Nasir, Ahtesham, Waqar, Vicky, Mithal Khan, Abbas, Sudheer and Muhammad Ramzan. They also recovered one repeater, five TT pistols and snatched cell phones from their possession. Separately, the police nabbed six motorcycle lifters from Eidgah, Korangi and Surjani areas. The police also recovered five stolen bikes, 23 snatched mobile phones, two wallets, two watches, Rs 4600 cash and three illegal weapons from them.
