The press conference announcing the 25th Oktoberfest VietnamThe German Businesses Association and the Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam) announced today that the 25th Oktoberfest Vietnam would be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi. Hanoi-based participants can celebrate Oktoberfest from October 5-7 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. The first Oktoberfest Vietnam was held in 1992 and immediately earned a special place in Vietnam’s social calendar. Mark Van Der Wielen, general manager at JW Marriott Hotel, revealed that the hotel has been hosting Oktoberfest Vietnam for four consecutive years now.
