The 25 Taiwanese companies are among the top 200 publicly traded firms on the 2023 list which "outperformed despite stiff global headwinds like inflation and rising funding costs," according to Forbes. Forbes said in a recent statement that the 2023 list was dominated by semiconductor manufacturing and related industries. The magazine used criteria such as net profit, sales and market capitalization to value the companies on the list.
