Residents of Oregun, in the Ikeja area of Lagos State, were thrown into panic in the late hours of Sunday after a 24-year-old generator engineer, Idris Jagun, lost his life to a stray bullet fired by a policeman. PUNCH Metro gathered that some people were reportedly fighting on Oregun Road late hours on Sunday when a police patrol van arrived at the scene. Jagun was reportedly shot in the thigh after a bullet was fired by a yet-to-be-identified policeman, who had allegedly shot into the crowd when the policemen were said to have come down from the van to disperse the crowd. In a viral video seen by our correspondent, a man was heard saying “Policemen have killed somebody.
