MANILA, Philippines — The local government of Manila seized more than 235 kilos of “botcha” or “double dead” meat at Ilaya, Recto early Monday. The “botcha” chicken meat were seized around 1 a.m. by the Veterinary Inspection Board (VIB) inspectors during their routine inspection. No one also admitted or at least pin-pointed who owned the hundred kilogram double dead meat. This is the second time that agents of VIB seized double dead meat under the watch of Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso.
