23 hour music marathon will celebrate Ashling's lifeA 23 hour traditional music marathon is being held in Tullamore on St Patrick's Day to honour the memory of Ashling Murphy. It will start at midday on St Patrick's Day and will continue until 11am on March 18. One of the organisers is the chair of Killeigh Comhaltas Attracta Murphy, who was also Ashling's first music teacher. “In the traditional music scene from the minute you start learning an instrument and start attending fleadhs and festivals, it's such a great social network.
