227 families in Bicol displaced by ‘Ramon’ – The Manila Times


A total of 227 families or 882 persons in the Bicol Region were displaced by Typhoon “Ramon,” the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Saturday. Based on the latest NDRRMC report, of the 227 families, 202 were staying in 12 evacuation centers while 25 were outside the centers. Overall, 507 families or 2, 060 persons were affected by Ramon in the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes. Also, 10 areas in Camarines Sur were flooded. Classes in 173 cities and municipalities were suspended in Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Cordillera Administrative Region and Southern Luzon
