In 24 hours, between 8 am on Sunday and 8 am on Monday, the hospital treated 38 patients, including two females, for various injuries sustained during kite flying. A 21-year-old man died on Sunday in Vadodara after sustaining a neck injury due to a kite string. He was among the 38 patients wheeled into emergency at the city’s SSG Hospital while flying kites on the day of Uttrayan on Sunday. Among the 38, a total of 25 sustained injuries on the neck, shoulders, and limbs, including eight minors.
