Twenty-one students studying at a government school in East Delhi's Chilla village fell sick after they consumed iron tablets given to them. The children who are stated to be out of danger are under observation at the Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital (LBS). The students of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in Mayur Vihar area, most of whom are below 12 years of age, showed signs of pain and discomfort after they were given the iron tablets during lunch hours at the school. They were rushed to the LBS hospital. They were treated and are out of danger but we are observing them closely," said Dr Amita Saxena, Medical Superintendent, LBS hospital.
