The Makati Veterinary Services Office (MVSO) has vaccinated a total of 21,584 pet dogs and cats in 26 barangays since January. Katherina Mangahas said her office gave free anti-rabies shots to 9,424 pets in District 1 and 12,160 pets in District 2. Mangahas urged residents whose pets have not been vaccinated to bring them to the nearest MVSO office. District 2 residents may bring their pets to MVSO at Cadena de Amor St., Barangay Pembo (tel. Among the 26 barangays covered in the drive to date, Barangay Rizal posted the highest number with 2,703 pets vaccinated.
