Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV with Bernard Avle, Dr Acheampong said 2025 delivered positive outcomes for Ghanaians, citing the impact of government policies and macroeconomic interventions. “If you were to ask me whether 2025 has been a good year for Ghanaians, absolutely it has been,” he stated. According to him, these policies are designed to stabilise the economy, support growth, and improve living standards. Dr Acheampong also pointed to Ghana’s planned exit from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme by mid-2026 as a key milestone that could unlock additional economic opportunities.
