Laguna Beach canceled its Independence Day fireworks show, and it also closed its beaches for the holiday weekend. Laguna Beach Art Museum’s Art and Nature exhibit, Patrick Shearn’s “Sunset Trace” Skynet, is suspended along the coastline path from Las Brisas to Main Beach. Laguna Beach parents demonstrate to open Thurston Middle School and Laguna Beach High School on Oct. 2.
