It was fortuitous that the 2019 Global Risks Report from the World Economic Forum (WEF) was released while we were discussing the coverage of this FINEX briefing. The report highlighted that “global risks are intensifying but the collective will to tackle them appears to be lacking. Environmental risks continue to dominate the results of the Global Risks Perception Survey of the WEF.
