Former Osun State Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has debunked reports peddled by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Osun State which claimed he encouraged attacks on people of the state. Omisore in a statement by his media aide, Jide Fakorede on Monday described such reports as ‘baseless’ and ‘worthless’. “Let it be expressly stated that at no time did Senator Iyiola Omisore encouraged violence or attack of any form on anybody. “Omisore will not be on the ballot on the 16th of February and 2nd of March general elections so we urge PDP to desist from their blackmail efforts and quit the attempts to malign Senator Omisore at any given chance. “Senator Iyiola Omisore remains unfazed by their antics and we urge Osun people to ignore the tantrums of the dying PDP who seems to be cranking up the firehouse of falsehood.”
