A two-time governorship candidate in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has denied insinuation in some quarters that he might not be contesting for the seat in 2019. Isiaka said he had no ambition of contesting for the senatorial seat in Ogun West, insisting that his ambition is to occupy the exalted seat after the expiration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s tenure. He dropped this hint during a meeting with the members of Imeko-Afon Council of Chiefs in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of the state, last Tuesday. He promised his kinsmen of his determination to win the forthcoming governorship election and promised to address challenges confronting local communities. Iroko also appealed to people of the local government to shun money politics as 2019 general elections draw nearer.
