THE Muslim community in Ekiti State has stated that it will not settle for anything position lesser than the deputy governor in the coming electoral dispensation in the state. Rising from a congress of Muslim Community of Ekiti State, held at the Central Mosque, Ado Ekiti, on Thursday , the Muslims said in a communique that “the Congress also resolved that Muslims in the state will not accept less than Deputy Governor from any political party in the state”. They also warned that any member of the community who went against the decision of the entire body would be sanctioned. They also warned that “Muslims including women were encouraged to be active in all the political parties they belong to in their various communities”.
