Our bureauPatna: A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Patna on Friday convicted all five accused in the 2013 Bodhgaya serial blasts. The minimum punishment for the sections is 10 years and maximum is imprisonment for life, said NIA special public prosecutor Lallan Prasad Sinha. An investigating officer quoted Haider as saying that the attack was aimed at avenging the atrocities against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. Vikas Vaibhav, a 2003-batch IPS officer then posted with the NIA, tweeted: "Am Extremely Glad to learn about conviction of accused in #BodhGayaBlasts. Memories from 2013-14 refreshed today in the Unique Case where #DNA lifted from site matched with accused."
