No fewer than 200 players are expected to take part in the 2017 CBN Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament in Abuja on Saturday, the News Agency of Nigeria reports. The field of amateur golfers, which will mostly have members of the IBB Golf and Country International Club, will have a strokeplay event to be won on nett score. The one-day competition will see participants categorised into male, female, CBN staff, CBN retired staff and CBN guests. The male will be in three divisions of Handicap 0-12, Handicap 13-18 and Handicap 19-24, while the female will be in two divisions of Handicap 0-20 and Handicap 21-30. “This tournament also creates a platform for interaction and fostering a spirit of friendship among competing golfers, while encouraging partnerships and networking.”Copyright PUNCH.
