KUALA LUMPUR: A British Shorthair named Zainiza Elwin was among 200 cats of various breeds on display at the Pet Expo Malaysia (Cat Edition) here today. With its adorable face and fluffy soft coat, the two-year-old cat awed the audience when her owner Haniza Kong carried her to the stage for a pose. Haniza, who was one of the participants at the expo, said her love for the British Shorthair breed began in 1990 when she first held the cat in her arms. Pix by Mahzir Mat IsaPet Expo Malaysia (Cat Edition), the first largest feline exhibition is currently ongoing and expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors. The show features over 100 booths showcasing more than 200 different species of cats, such as Maine Coon, Persian Exotic, Bengal, British Shorthair, Munchkin Cat and many more.
