It accused Indian soldiers of crossing into Chinese territory and "attacking Chinese personnel". Foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said Indian troops "crossed the border line twice... provoking and attacking Chinese personnel, resulting in serious physical confrontation between border forces on the two sides".
