The boy was found dead in Awora River with some parts of his body removed. The Mother of the deceased, 19-year-old Adwoa Fremah reported the case to community authorities but all efforts to find the boy proved futile. The lifeless body of the boy was later found dead in the river on Monday evening with vital organs including the heart, tongue, navel and his penis cut off. The Obuasi Divisional Police Command has commenced investigation into the gruesome murder of the boy.
