The “gunfight” ensued when they were robbing the people of a Dhaka-bound private car at Chhoto Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila early Tuesday. RAB 7 sources said sensing the presence of the elite force, robbers opened fire at them. Later, the bodies of the two robbers were found lying on the spot. The bodies were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
