Police killed two suspected kidnappers in an encounter in Imus, Cavite on Thursday. PNP-AKG Director Senior Superintendent Glenn Dumlao says, the suspects who died have yet to be identified. The PNP launched an attack against the suspects following the death of the kidnap victim yesterday. The victim's body was recovered in an open canal at the boundary of General Trias and Dasmarinas. Prior to this, the suspected abductors allegedly tried to get ransom money from the victim's family.
