The arrestees are Zakir Hossain Golandaz, an autorickshaw driver from Amtali upazila of Barguna, and Sahabuddin Chowdhury, a fish farm owner in Hizla. Police also detained a teenage associate of the miscreants and based on his information arrested the duo. The woman confirmed that the teenager was not involved in the rape but accompanied the miscreants. A case has been filed under the act of preventing torture against women and children, and the woman was sent to Barisal Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital for medical tests.
