Hamilton police say they have "detained" two men after an investigation closed the Claremont Access on Friday afternoon. Around 4:30 p.m., police announced they had detained two men. Police had closed off both the north and southbound lanes of the Claremont Access for an emergency call. Victoria Avenue was also closed between Main Street and Stinson Street. Nearby St. Patrick's Elementary School was also placed in hold and secure for a short period on Friday afternoon.
